| I think a lot of people feel the way I do- The 300ZX was a very nice, high end car that carried with it an air of dignity. This is a quality that modded out shitbox civics do not have. Each time someone sees a well maintained, beautiful 300ZX TT it leaves a positive impression in their mind. HOWEVER- When you start ragging out the car with gaudy kits and shoddy workmanship you make the car look like absolute garbage. When people see this it lowers their opinion of the entire car line. It degrades the brand and changes the image from being a high end GT car with class to yet another 18 year old's beater. As the Z32 gets older and decreases in value it becomes affordable by lower income and often less desirable people whose tastes reflect their personality and social standing. Much the same way that you wouldn't want to see a drunken bum laying on the floor of your favorite classy restaurant, I don't want to see ridiculous looking ghetto ass Z32's riding around.
